Franco-Guinean Union : ウィキペディア英語版 | Franco-Guinean Union The Franco-Guinean Union ((フランス語:Union franco-guinéenne), abbreviated UFG) was a political party in Guinea. The party was founded in February 1947. The organization functioned as a Conakry-based coordination committee of the different ethnic-based interests that supported Yacine Diallo. Its main backers were chiefs from the Futa Jallon.〔Schmidt, Elizabeth. ''(Cold War and Decolonization in Guinea, 1946-1958 )''. Western African studies. Athens: Ohio University Press, 2007. p. 41〕〔Segal, Ronald. ''(Political Africa )''. Lond: Stevens, 1961. p. 340〕 The party was linked to the French Section of the Workers' International (SFIO).〔 UFG was during its entire existence a rival of the African Democratic Rally (RDA). ''(Cold War and Decolonization in Guinea, 1946-1958 )''. Western African studies. Athens: Ohio University Press, 2007. p. 52〕 UFG disintegrated after Diallo's death.〔Hodgkin, Thomas.
